Kermit appeared in Memphis to play with the Johnny O’Neal Trio for the Jazz At The Opera show at the Clark Opera Center. The Trio, made up of Johnny O’Neal on piano and vocals, Jeff Anderson on bass, and Kermit Walker on drums played a phenominal show. During the course of the perfomrance they were also joined by Herman Green for a special appearance making it all the more memorable. The Event was hosted by the Midsouth Jazz Foundation, and all Drums for the event were supplied by Memphis Drum Shop.
